These are the main projects I'm involved
Some classes that I teach at UTAD in three main subjects
This is one of my main subjects. Some works with sensors applied to agriculture.
Two main classes in Microelectronics: Microtechnologies, and Micro-sensores and Micro-actuators.
Some classes in electronics basics and in embedded systems where several micro-controllers are introduced.
A simplified list of resource that I use.
My name is António Valente and I'm an Assistant Professor at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) and a Researcher at Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering - Technology and Science (INESC TEC). My teaching and research activities are focused on sensors, microelectronics and MEMS.
Recently envolved into two main projects:
To develop a soil sensor system to measure soil water content, soil temperature, soil thermal properties, and soil nutrients.
Another projects is related to robotics - to organize a micromouse comptition in Portugal at UTAD, Vila Real
Actualy teaching Microcontroller systems, Instrumentation and Sensors, Microtechnologies, and Electrical Fundamentals
